After a couple of years on the road playing songs from the first 3 albums, time has come for the “3 dudes” to go into a Christmas mood this year, this coming December.
Side A
”Santa Comes `round” is a tribute to the sweet, gentle tradition of Christmas songs from 50íes all the way to our time. It’s meant as a tribute to a tradition of happiness, forgiveness, hope and a wish for a better world for everyone.
Side B
“What Did You See” is a totally different kind of a Christmas song. Not sweet, not gentle. But a song of wonder towards how mankind treat each other, and our strange believes. Not even Santa Claus is sacred!

J.tex & The Volunteers “Jule Single 2011”
Efter tre albums med Amerikansk roots musik er det tid til at præsentere den første Jule single med J.Tex & The Volunteers.
Side A
”Santa Comes `round” er en hyldest til den fine og ret så hyggelige julesangstradition, den som vi alle mindes, når vi nærmer os december måned tænder for radioen og kommer i julehumør. Selve teksten prøver at give os glæde, forventning og håb om en bedre tider for hele verden.
Side B
“What Did You See” er modsat A-siden en helt ualmindelig julesang. Den leverer på ingen måde traditionel julehygge. I stedet har den et anderledes julebeat og en anti juletekst. Ingen søde tanker om julemandens kommen og gøren eller vores egen måde at behandle vores medmennesker på. Dog er dette en julesang med banjo og det hele, i en ægte J.Tex & the Volunteers stil.
